Commercial Water Damage in Brownsville,TX.

SERVPRO of East Brownsville and South Padre Island responded to an emergency water loss in a commercial building. After the first inspection, our technicians found the source in the attic space over one bathroom affecting three other adjacent rooms.

Our Water Mitigation specialists started the process by extracting the excess water from the affected carpet, and proceeded to remove the cove base and drill holes. Drilling holes on the drywall creates cavities to allow air flow, so that it properly dries between the drywall and exterior sheathing. Then, the necessary drying equipment was setup for the proper mitigation. After 3 days of the equipment running, our technicians were able to restore the structure back to normal humidity levels.

The last phase was the re-construction of the affected areas; our construction crew re-installed everything back. The end result was restoring the building back “Like it never even happened.”
